Religion is a contentious subject in the field of education. Many educators do not fully understand laws governing what can and cannot occur in a school setting with regard to religion.
- At the Supreme Course Collection, search Freedom of Religion, and select one of the cases that pertain to religion in school.
- Select Cases on the menu bar at the top of the website page.
- Choose Browse All Cases.
- Choose "Establishment of Religion" using the Topic drop-down menu, and click Find.
- When the Browse Results appear, choose one of the cases pertaining to religion in school.
- Discuss how the decision in the case impacts modern education school cultures.
- Include a brief summary of the case.
- Support your points with at least one piece of scholarly research.
- Create a post that is thoughtful, professional, and provokes further discussion.
